FAQs

How do I book a session?

The best way to see available packages and my open calendar dates to book a session is directly from the investment/pricing tab above. There is a BOOK NOW button you can click on to see my open dates/times. If you are not sure where you want to photograph your session, select the Miranda Longoria Photography location and we will decide which location after your booking is finalized. If you don’t see a date and time that works for you, email me and I might have dates/time blocked on the calendar that could work for both of us. The BEST time of day for outdoor sessions is 2 hours after sunrise and 1-2 hours before sunset. If you want outdoors midday - I recommend a studio or a well-shaded outdoor area.

What locations do you recommend

I have a very large list of outdoor locations and studios we can rent all over the DFW metroplex and surrounding areas. I mostly work in the Denton County area but I do travel all over Texas for a minimal travel fee. There is no travel fees for locations within a 1 hour drive from Argyle TX. Contact me and we can go through my recommended list of locations/studios to pick the best one for you.

How long does it take for me to get my proofing gallery?

Standard portrait sessions are processed and delivered within 2-4 weeks.

Event photography images are processed within 2-10 business days.

Weddings are processed and delivered within 8-12 weeks.

Senior portraits are processed and delivered within 6-8 weeks.

These turn-around times are subject to change due to the time of year and amount of sessions in the editing queue. I will communicate clearly where your session is in the queue here on the website under the UPDATES tab.

How long does it take for a print order to arrive?

Standard prints usually arrive in 5-7 days after you order and pay your invoice. Canvas, Metal & Wood Prints usually take about 2-4 weeks to arrive once you order and pay your invoice. Albums take 2-4 weeks to design and another 2-4 weeks to print once the proof is reviewed and approved. These timelines are subject to change based on the time of year and workload for the printing company. Overnight shipping upgrades are available but do not change the processing time.

How long is my proofing gallery active?

For a standard portrait session or event - I keep your proofing gallery active for 14-30 days from the day it’s delivered to you. Once you have made your selections, downloaded and finalized any print orders, I archive your proofing gallery for 1 year. At anytime during that year, you can contact me to reactivate your gallery for 48 hours to make additional orders or redownload your images.

Wedding proofing galleries are active for one full year from the date of the wedding. The day after the couple’s first anniversary the proofing gallery is archived and backed up for 5 years. At anytime during that time, you can contact me to reactivate your gallery for 48 hours to make additional orders or re-download your images. After 5 years, I will delete everything from your gallery except my favorites and your favorites. Upon divorce, I will delete your proofing gallery if you request. Due to privacy, I will not directly share your proofing gallery with anyone except the wedding couple. If you would like to share it with friends and family, you can send them the link that I provide you.

How do I download my images?

Click on the proofing gallery link that I provided to you via email. Enter an email address that you have access to and the password I provided in the email (if applicable). If you have purchased only a set amount of images in your package, you will need to favorite/star the amount of images in your packages and then let me know you are finished making your selections. I will set up a folder in your proofing gallery for downloading. You will click on that folder and then you can click the DOWNLOAD ALL button at the top of that folder or click the download button under each individual picture in that album to download them. I recommend downloading to a computer for highest resolution/quality. I do NOT recommend screenshooting the images. When you click the DOWNLOAD button, the watermark will drop from the image when you save it. You MUST use the DOWNLOAD button to have the watermark removed. Please download your images ASAP as I will archive the gallery after 30 days.

I recommend using www.mpix.com for printing your digital images. I do NOT recommend labs like CVS, Walgreens and Walmart, as they apply their own automated color-correcting and sharpening that will compromise the quality of the original image. If you are local to DFW and need a local printer, I recommend www.legacy-photolab.com.

I have used sites like Shutterfly with mixed results. Just know I cannot guarantee the quality of any print unless it’s ordered directly through your proofing gallery from my pro printing lab. You can order prints on standard, metallic and deep matte paper, as well as wrapped canvas, metal and wood prints in various sizes directly through your proofing gallery. These are all high-quality archival prints with a true color print process. My pro-print lab is Millers Professional Printing.

Where do you recommend to order prints, canvas, metals, albums etc.?
